society doesnt grant us the luxury of getting to know passer by's or the guy in the corner, so why is fair enough but still.

Im tryin to play nice!But also I blame Western society for this (like most things). We have gotten too comfortable and removed from the process of our own survival. The factors that ALLOWS one to completely alienate oneself from the rest of the world has created a REALLY weird sub-culture of virtual reality refugees running from the real world.
To be honest not having a loving and stable relationship is just one of the many important things we don't have and that's just the tip of the iceberg. We don't have land, knowledge of food and water production, practical knowledge of ways to generate energy, medicinal knowledge, financial knowledge...ironically we have been given too much of nothing important and it's made us depressed and complacent and crabby.
But the good news is I believe we are more open to learning about new things and change. So our potential future could surpass any previous generation if we play our cards right.
