Can the points be transferred to chase ultimate reward points? If so it's a no brainer.

I would say yeah. I took a pic of how the website looks and my total rewards points are listed under all 3 cards which all of them are rewards cards.

All this drip on me
I have Prime and I pretty much use Amazon more than any single site for shopping.:ohhh: That 5% is enticing, I may have to cave in. If it was any other store/site I'd pass because I really don't need another card.:manny:

Yo. Amazon was the second credit card I applied for after I had established myself and they denied me. I've been hesitant ever since. Saw this thread and said fukk it and applied. Approved.

It's now my highest limit card. It's gonna fukk up my age history but it's gonna bring my utilization down significantly.

And that $70 is instantaneous.

Getting a new card isn't going to affect your score as far as age history much if at all

I've only had credit history for about a year. This would be my 4th card so far. Oldest card being 1 year, newest being 5 months. It's cut my age history to 8 months. While I don't worry about that one as much as far as my score goes, it's just bothersome is the only thing that shakes that out is waiting lol.

I got their card already so I'm already getting transferred to the new card. What sucks is that right when this was announced i had just received my new amex card that had a promo for I believe 10% back on Amazon purchases up to $2000 spent. Plus I get zero interest on it for a year, and that's not including my boa card that has zero interest until June. So I'll probably stick with the amex for now to take advantage of their offer then go back to the Amazon card. I gotta pay off the $300 I got on there before anything tho.

I wonder if I can reapply for the student discount when the renewal comes. :jbhmm:
