those arent arenas. some of them arent even his shows.

you posted all this for nothing. the point is, if he was some all-time top 6 most successful rapper like homie is claiming, then he would be doing arenas. sports arenas, if i have to be specific.

he would be performing at the wells fargo or at least temple's arena instead of the electric factory. in boston, he would be playing the boston garden rather than the house of blues. i mean, thats not expected for him at this point of his career BUT HE NEVER DID THIS.

the idea of there only being a handful of rappers more successful than nas is poppy-cock.

Most of them are his shows and the rest was part of his touring line up but he's never been a big arena act. Who are the rappers you're talking about?

Paris Saint-Germain
he's going to be at the olympia in paris, that's the madison square equivalent in paris and he did bercy with damian and that's the biggest concert arena in here. But I agree he's not yet the big superstar (for example eminem will fill the stade de france who is a big stadium and you got only cats like lady gaga, iron maiden, bruce springsteen in there) but for a lyrical rapper like him that's huge enough, he didn't have to sellout too much

He doesn't make/have enough cross over mainstream hits to play arenas consistently. But how many all time great rappers can do that? Eminem, Jayz, Kanye ( if you think he is all time great) and that's it.

nikka...wtf is success to u?..in terms of being a POP star?...no..but fukkin MC Hammer has done more than ur favorite rapper so that's void....literally..the nikka has been in the game 22 fukkin years and has about 8 platinum albums and 2 gold ones...nikka is HIGHLY regarded as one of the greatest of all time and respected as a legend....the nikka is on his like 10th or 11th solo joint and the shyt is gettin grammy nominations....the nikka NEVER faded out...the nikka has one of the best OVERALL CAREERS in the rap game...nikka has been in movies..tv shows...had endorsements...made a successful documentary...co owns a successful tour...and he IS able to tour himself(I don't even know where u got that garbage)...the nikka just did Radio City Music Hall on New Years Eve...he is able to also enjoy his privacy while still being able to do what he wants...THAT's success in my eyes...u just being stubborn right about now...cause u would be hard pressed to name more than 3 rappers with the career Nas has had...

i forgot how this board operates.

i regret mentioning nas' name.

Name them or are you just being a :troll:

i shouldnt have to name them. unless youre a novice..........

ive already said more than enough.

youre confusing sucess with acclaim. yes, i view nas as top 10 on the legendary side, but in terms of a success list, i wouldnt even consider his name.

radio city music hall is in his hometown.

yes, hammer was by far more successful than nas. BY FAR.

all this stuff youre running down thats actually relevant to what im talking bout is stuff that has been done by tons of rappers. hell, a dude like e-40 could fit your description. and hes prolly sitting on more money than nas.

Oh yea..Radio City is his home town..I forgot its just that simple...smh..like I said its all on how u measure success...but u aint in these nikkas pockets..at all..u dont know if E40 has more money than Nas or anybody....and vice versa...nikkas can count and manage OTHER nikkas pockets all day but when it comes to they own they got overdraft fees in they bank..either way im done wit this convo my g..we can just agree to disagree...and as far as success goes..I would MUCH rather have Nas' career than Hammer's...believe that..

i didnt say it was that simple, but 'it aint hard to tell' why he plays a venue like that in his hometown and nowhere else. also, i notice that you completely dodged everything else i said concerning venues.

i dont care about another man's pockets. i just threw that part in there cuz it sounded nice, to be honest.

but it doesnt take a genius to see that nas was never a major attraction and not a top guy in terms of grossing money.

who in their right mind would take nas' success over hammer's? again, youre confusing success with acclaim.

A few years of success and bankruptcy?..u would take that over success while not as high being spread over 2 decades?..really?..shortsighted as fukk if u ask me...I didnt dodge anything...I answered those questions...everyone knows nas isnt a POP star...I said that...Nas has acclaim AND is successful...shyt..Nas and Hammer came around close to the same time...which one can drop an album and still sell hundreds of thousands of records?...damn sure aint hammer..u sound ignorant right now g...
