Yeah, at this point, the only way they can go is up. But honestly, whatever execs are over the company's whole direction have probably written it off except for Batman-related media. The comic book movie craze is going to eventually dry up, which is why marvel keeps reinventing it with their shows and now animation.

Im an old old comic book head, and except for animation (DC still runs that game for now, but Marvel is about to take that too), Marvel has done better filmwise, in gaming, and other areas.

Kind of sad, but DC will never reach Marvel's level at this point, and the leadership is to blame.

The one thing I've yet to see Marvel do, outside of Netflix, is go hardcore. If Blade is PG-13, I'm out. We've already seen what happens when they made Blade PG-13 in Blade 3. shyt was garbage.

With DC, they've shown they can do it all.

I want all comic book companies to be successful. I wish they would have let Zach finish his story even in an HBO Max joint and just have Flash reboot it by fukkin up the timeline. But apparently that's what they are doing with the Flash movie.

DC's movies have been successful in their own right for a minute. The only one to me that was complete ass was the original Justice League, but they cut 90% of what Snyder shot and it showed. His version is in my top 10 comic movies ever.

This new Batman looks flames and could top Dark Knight.

Not bad trailer but not sure, how I feel about Robert Pattinson as Batman and especially as Bruce Wayne. I feel like Robert Pattinson is the wrong actor to play Batman/Bruce Wayne just like Ben Affleck is the wrong actor to play Batman/Bruce cause both of them are terrible actors and not believable. I'm still gonna watch Batman movie so I hope Robert proves me wrong.

Where is this Pattinson is a bad actor stuff coming from? He's been great for years. As for Batman, he's completely fukking unhinged and Gotham looks like a god-damn war zone. He looks perfect for the setting.

Yep. Ultimately these films get compared (unfavourably) to Nolan/Bale's movies, but at this stage I think everyone is ready to embrace a new series of Batman movies.
