Its not just his voice its his flow.

He's the GOAT but father time is undefeated.

He needs to buy his masters from Colombia and release Lost Tapes vol. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. 9. 10..

My main thing is just the effort of the bars. Nas used to be able to say some shyt you never heard in your life. He had a way of coloring detail into his rhymes that could be poetic, vulgar or offkilter. sometimes at the same time. He would pull from references that were atypical. I don't hear that anymore. People talking about he killed this verse. What are the quotables? He's saying a whole of nothing in the plainest possible way. The rhymes just don't have that seasoning any more.

That's right, at his age it's somewhat understandable, but the introspect, the knack for descriptive, thought provoking, multi syllabic, effortless bars, its only in fits and spurts these days.

More often than not his verses sound like he's trying to just get through it, get out the studio, and get on the jet to Monaco.

Not hating, just being real.
