New Day had a god run with a small bit of creative freedom, but Vince has officially taken over.

it would have to be Big E, but he would need to show a mean streak. few months ago when I thought a cool way to turn them face and make him a main event guy would have been for someone to injure either Kofi or Woods...or both and have him become a monster as he gets revenge. no more smiles.

Man, if anything, WWE needs more fun acts like New Day. I don't want another generic stable that takes everything seriously and ends up becoming a joke because booking WILL fukked them over with a bunch of losses.

I'm more than fine with them having 10-20 minutes of fukkery and fun matches every week, with an occasional serious promo or beatdown to sell a feud. I don't need them all serious all the time trying to be a threat on a roster that has 20 people trying to do that and failing miserably. And not everybody has to be fighting for a big belt, they already champions, build towards that and make that belt mean something by creating a good rivalry.

The only (relatively minor) problem I have with The New Day right now is that their gimmick has pretty much disappeared. Occasionally they'll say something about positivity, but outside of the gospel theme, it's almost impossible to tell what it's supposed to be anymore.

I heard from a WWE source several weeks back that WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day were doing great merchandise numbers, thanks to the sales from their t-shirts and socks. Apparently Xavier Woods' 'UpUpDownDown' gear has sold well also.

This is probably why WWE released a bunch of new merchandise for the group on Monday. Kofi Kingston noted on Twitter that the unicorn horns sold out in just 5 hours. He tweeted:
