Big E is the runner up ether master of WWE to KO. But...he's still an independent contractor to Vince. He's unlikely, outside of power lifting events, going to have a platform near this one as there's no real Black superheroes of his size he can branch off to outside of Spawn.
This is why people are retarded to keep hating people who support the WWE. It's basically a collection of individuals who have to work for the most powerful boss in the industry. Supporting them is not supporting him directly. If people want to take that stance...hen brah-fukking-O, but you're not really saying anything. Pope can Jumpstart their careers, if you help them with your support, outside of this shythole of racism. Just applaud they're making money while they get that chance and STFU about people who are helping in that.
I agree with you, as well as the other things you've been saying in the thread.
Having thought about this...I feel like it's a good tactical move, and will probably benefit all parties, but might benefit ND more than anyone. The Fed gets an easy counter to accusations of bigotry ("But, 3 black men inducted them in!"), the Freebirds will look less racist (But make no mistake, I've no doubt that all of those cats are bigots, IDGAF if Hayes is polite to them backstage). ND on the other hand, not only gets the exposure of being a rather big part of the HOF Ceremony, but this may also help them reach a new audience/get some crossover appeal. I imagine that the rural, white, southern redneck fan is probably one of their weak-points in regards to connecting with the audience...if they "do the job", they might be able to sway a few of those people...
Honestly, I'm willing to bet that this is, at least partially, making up for that "I hate country music" skit they did....

These cacs were salty, even Stone Cold was
I feel like *this* kind of shyt is actually more telling of how the WWE feels about an individual or group of individuals than say, winning non-heavyweight belts. They want brand people. PR over everything. Make no mistake, this is another platform being handed over to them. I hope they make the most of it.
I doubt ND gives a flying shyt about the FB. They know what's up. But they are three smart cats who are about their money so they are gonna sacrifice here for their futures. Even though they're over, these dudes likely have little to no actual leverage, and what capital they do have to spend, is probably spent on creative freedom and talking the Fed into merchandise ideas.
The only thing that will make me truly turn against this will be if they show images of the FB with confederate flags. After the Charleston shooting and the subsequent public conversation, the WWE should know that that's inappropriate in 2016, especially when they have a black group inducting them in. Whether or not they show them flagging will be most telling here. If they avoid it, than I'll continue to consider this a good PR move that benefits all parties, if they don't, I'm going to think that this was, at least partially, the company trying to make a political statement. I really hope they avoid it, this is already a blatantly calculative move, but if they have the ND out there putting over the rebel flag, that's just outright savage....
My fear is that I'm wrong, and that the only reason the ND is inducting them in, is *because* they plan on showing them flagging during their video package....

In which case,

at the whole thing.
