Exactly, right on average with his entire career

Notice how positive word of mouth increased his first week sales as the projections were less this 175k
good point here...now imagine if the hipster internet critics and blogs were on board.... they all have been critical of the album....

We know you afraid to wear your G-Unit tank top out in public, but you still got it on

That you Ross?

Speaking of tank tops...

hilarious when a bunch of people in here arguing over sales but yet dont eeeen buy records... lol

if you all dont.. why should you argue about it?? I like Ross, I will admit I didnt and dont plan on buying the album. With that said.. we in a different climate (which has been said over 500000000000 times on here). So why do y'all continue with this argument?

Its already established you have to have a real crossover appeal to sell. Only about 5 rappers have that. Other rappers have only a gold selling appeal. Just stop the dumb ass arguing. Ross will hit gold. Just like he has his whole career.. got damn

Breh, i'm not even a 50 fan like that, but if we're talking numbers, dude :eat:tremendously already.

Someone said Ross' best selling album is like 850K total... 50 did those numbers in back to back weeks for GRODT.

His second album has more sales than all of Ross' albums combined.

Even the two frisbees he dropped are probably more than Ross last 3 albums total.

It speaks volumes to how hard Fif fell off, but it says even more about how low on the totem pole Ross actually is.

Curly stans never talk about how Eminem and the great hype fueled those sales of the first 2 albums, before the internet era popped off and killed record sales. Its is funny to see Curly fighting against COs just to get his name mentioned.

Not to mentioned them bullets holes he collected helped him sell a few records as well.

On top of the drama that was still new to the public. Fif's early success is a record exec's wet dream. Too bad that there will never be a gangsta rapper as successful as Fif ever again.

black love, unity, and music
175k is a phenomenon for any artist CACs aren't supporting.

This. Ross predominantly makes his music for BLACK FOLK. He calls out crackas repeatedly thoughout his tape and isn't afraid to be disrepectful when he feels like it. Whites tend to enjoy softer, more carefree, less threatening hiphop like Kanye or Cackelmore. Those trying to claim Ross "flopped" because he didn't sell a "million" his first week like Drake, Eminem, Kanye, or any of the other mainstream hiphop artists are fukking idiots, cacs, c00ns, or all three. Album sales have NEVER been the barometer by which classic hiphop is judged, so i don't know why you fukking c*ntS keeping going on and on about it.

Most people i know bought the Ross album and basically everyone has nothing but praise for it. That's all that should matter. All these online reviews from cacs on pitchfork, to the lame ass thread in here really does harm to how we view hiphop as a product. Its like everything BUT the fukking music is empasized. Threads like this piece of shyt and that cacfork review are evidence of that.

Because the album didn't sell a million copies on release day DOES NOT mean i will stop bumping this cd. Why? Because its good to me and my folks. Not sure when this concept of how to enjoy music changed.

I swear, the internet is ruining hiphop
