I'm not talking about electability, I'm talking about the expectations. I already said Hillary is going to win and voted that she would win in the Iowa caucus thread. I'm trying to push people to not give up on progressive ideals. I told
@smitty22 last week that I think Sanders will push the party left. If he stretches this out, that alone is a win. Someone like him is winning in the next 20 years however, just look at the demographics of the nation. But what's funny to me is that when I stood up for some of Obama's stances you voted Green now you're voting for someone who is more of a war hawk than he is, that's pretty strange. I don't believe in any Democrat doing well in Congress (trust me I would know better than anyone here and I'll leave that at that without going to much into job history). What is his economic protectionism? I am a child of an immigrant parent too. Him being against the TPP makes perfect sense if you know how free trade agreements work.
Do you know what those agreements allow? Go ask South Koreans how they feel about the last free trade agreement and tobacco companies being able to supersede national law. BTW, I don't care about China and India's investments at all and that's just talk (you're looking for a cop out with that every Democrat talks like that and then does nothing...that's not even worth talking about).
Last, but not least, you know I'm not a fan of generalities. What is your "post labor economy" that he does not support? Just know, you're basically invalidating yourself from ever criticizing Obama again. EVER. Every critique of him you've ever made was just invalidated with this post. Clinton = Obama with a penchant for war. Side note:
@ThreeLetterAgency @wire28 @Atlrocafella none of what I'm saying is personal. This is how my boys and I talk shyt to each other. But a lot out of "progressives" are showing their ass right now. It's easy to talk in practice against Republicans, but when there's a real credible guy from the left everyone falls back on "electability." I've done my job exposing that so now I'm going back to my usual self. I don't want to hear anything when I'm talking about political efficacy during the Clinton administration from anyone on the "left." What do I really think about Bernie? He'll go out the same way Zephyr went out here in NYC, but he'll push the state more to the left. That's enough.
