This is actually a perfect example of how cole uses the rapid fire flow as a crutch to cover up his less than stellar writing. My style got a restraining order .....what next...."my flow got a bench warrant"....come on now. Then he literally rhymes the word "order" twice in the same bar. But it SOUNDS good so people overlook it. When you actually read Coles verses he has too many bars like this. He's more concerned with how the rhyme sounds than actually making it great. And plenty of people get fooled by it.

Dude needs to slow it down again and get back on the introspective shyt. We get it. You can rhyme a lot of words in short sequences. Bring back the substance. 2nd verse was much better cause he actually said something meaningful.
