When's the last time kendrick rapped about "this crap"? Kendrick social commentary raps are always overly-symbolic spiritual raps, pull yourself up by the bootstraps perserverance anthems, and how black people need to do better in the system.If kendrick was to spit the exact same verse, I'd admit it's above average at best. And as for the topic, Kendrick already rapped about that crap, and he did it better. Cole has a stain on his legacy that’s never coming off. We all should be able to acknowledge that. That doesn’t mean we can’t give him props when he drops something dope. In what world is this not a dope song? Rapping well is a bad thing now? What has happened to hip hop?

Can’t be mad at the Kendrick glaze when he has the crown. And rightfully so he earned that shyt lol. This is a good track tho can’t wait for the album.
All that other shyt aside, I don’t see how you can listen to Cole and not respect his pen, lyricism and consider him one of the GOATS of his era.
