I don't mind EVIL getting a nice push, the end to him and Tanahashi was good. Shibata and Suzuki had a good match as expected. I was legit shocked that Omega went out this early but it was a damn good match with Ishii. It went a little long, probably could have shaved off the first 5-10 minutes but it was a great finish
I'm becoming a fan too. His matches never disappoint.

Exactly. Dude was young and MMA was thriving hard during that time. Times have changed and Bata was probably one of the reasons why I followed NJPW. Dude personifies everything I love about professional wrestling. The physique, the work ethnic, the stiffness, and the fact that his actions>>>promos reminds me of Antonio Inoki.
Bottom line, NJPW needs to give the gold to the man. Imagine him holding that belt up in victory at KOPR or Dominion
