Cudi's not the depressed druggy anymore so his music doesn't hit me 100% like it used to, but he still drops gems...Going To The Ceremony from Satellite Flight is Top 10 Cudi tracks to me, and Indicud had plenty bangers...i wish dude would get back to what he was doing, but he isn't in that place anymore, and as somebody who is in that place, i'm glad to see he's managed to crawl out of it...i won't use his life experience as manure for art...

he just started making it this year..
wouldn't make it until he got Emile, Plain Pat and A-Trak involved so we're going to be waiting a while for it.

this will be just the shyt he's made between Satellite Flight and now.
But he never mentioned working on anything else other than MOTM 3 after Satelite. So it's easy to see how some would be confused by this project coming first.

debut album is a classic to me

follow up was cool

everything after that

ehhh

like dont get me wrong i find a few cuts i like/love

but the consistency from that first lp hasnt been there

my biggest issue is how shunned he is from the radio like they NEVER play his stuff

even his first lp "make her say" got SOME burn on radio but thats it and that first lp is crazy

another smash he had that radio shunned is this classic

cudder!!

Teleport To Me had pop radio written all over it...that song was a legitimate hit that would've did well in them white clubs...imagine the remixes...

but yeah, WZRD was trash for the most part...got played out quick...i wonder if he even performs any of those songs live...

Your delusional if u don't think he can make a comeback
he needs to become a competent producer first but even then the process is alittle more difficult since he doesnt sample, he creates all his beats fromthe ground up so that alone requires a far heavier amount of time and expierience to the point its no use in waiting. you can tell he tried to replicate his old sound on that last album and it sounded mad amateurish

this dude bought into his hype too early and as soon as he decided to make a rock album with less than a years experience of actually learning to play the guitar, was the sure moment it was obvious his carrer was going to takle a turn for the worst. his ambition far outweights his skillset, dude is talking about making dark side of teh moon tier albums with three years worth of producing expierence

Cudi been workin on production for years...since after his second album at least...he can improve...Satellite Flight was intended to sound like a movie score...

he started prodcuing around 2011, so its been roughly 3 years, if he was making sample based boombap it would be alright but his style of music requires far more in terms of layers, synth work and general songwqriting creativity andhes not going to be able to handle that with his current skillset. dude had Mike Dean, kanyes right hand man, and Emile, current producer for lane del ray, two of the best producers in his corner in his corner and threw it all away for pennies
