Why will it never pass? If the league wanted to they could tell players they couldn't vote. There's nothing irregular about that. A voluntary contract can include almost anything that isn't malicious intent.

No they couldn't and wouldn't. Do you know how idiotic you sound right now :mjlol:

Question: Do you honestly think that the NHL or MLB would ever propose that their players not be able to legally own a firearm?

Do you think that would ever happen?

fukk no :camby:

Banning players from legally owning firearms WIL NEVER fukkIN HAPPEN
:snoop:

The second amendment, along with other Bill of Rights amendments, are about what the GOVERNMENT cannot infringe upon, NOT a private party. That's why people so badly misinterpret the First Amendment's Freedom of Speech. A private actor can prohibit speech, but the government cannot for certain speeches. If the NBA, as a private party, and the NBAPA as private parties, want to enter into a mutual contract to prohibit guns or speech or religious practices, or whatever, they surely can do that if want.

Get it now?

I'm saying they won't EVER tell players that they can't legally own a firearm or that they can't vote. That will never happen. I'm specifically talkin about that

No, you went on about some "team sports rule overruling the constitution." Not about whether they'd actually put this in the CBA. Can't move the goalposts when you realize how stupid you sound now.

They told players in the last CBA that fighting was prohibited but nikkas still got into tussles right? They didn't stand there with their arms by their side getting bludgeoned talking bout the CBA says I can't fight.
This doesn't say they can own guns, it's basically saying don't shoot yourself in the leg or else we will come after your money and we have a legal basis to end your contract (or whatever).

Hell naw man. You're trippin. Please tell me a team sports rule that overruled a constitutional right?

Weed in Colorado and California.

but yeah, I don't think they can prohibit you from having a license or keeping one in your home, BUT, you have to leave the firearm before you go to any NBA function. Anything besides that, the league will try to void your deal, so long story short, Knicks fans better pray Joakim Noah gets caught strapped up at LQ's.

the Jet Ski thing might as well be renamed the Jose Fernandez rule

The NBA could never supersede the 2nd amendment :what:

That CBA measure/rule will never pass
they're not trying to supercede the 2nd amendment

could you bring a gun to work? you'd get fired if you did. Your rights aren't violated there

same way the NBA players could chose to fukk around with firearms but that means they willingly violate the CBA which is a civil thing
