That is the point that everyone is missing. The only people who are outraged about the name Redskins are social justice types.....most of whom are white, liberal college kids who pick up causes like this in order to prove to everyone (and themselves) how morally superior and tolerant they are.

The population is 5.5 million and confidence intervals when performing national censuses are always performed at 99% confidence interval. You cant do a poll at 95% interval and then apply it to data that uses a 99% interval, that throws the skew off even further.

That's like saying 99% of 99% = 99%. It's not, the interval must be consistent for the data to be valid.

Um, no. I think you mean confidence level, not confidence interval. The sample size is good for to say with 95% confidence with a margin of error of +/- 5. It is what it is. You sound confused, like you're just googling shyt on the fly.

Regardless even if it's not really 90%...if it's really 70 or 80, it's consistent with other polls that all show that American Indians don't really care about the Redskins name.
