I'd watch that over some hood dvds where nikkas are incriminating themselves and acting like monkeys without any sort of in depth explanation.
I don't sense any sort of condescending tone from the vice reporters at all. In fact some of them are swag and coo as fukk
The fact that you don't think Black people can tell their own stories tells me what kind of Black person you are already
Funny that Drill is a music scene from a SMALL part of Chicago Eastside Dro City shyt that seeped to the Southside but you don't see these White outsiders including Chance's "tweaker" scene or Bop on the Westside or older heads like Tree The MC to show the diversity of Chicago just the sensational violence to get idiots like you thinking it's all dangerous zoo filled with animals. You don't learn the pathology because it's not from a first person perspective and like @GreenOva415 said, it's all fake outrage.
I don't fukk with Vice or Noisey cause they've come to represent the current generation way too much. While I do find some of their work to be interesting, it usually just boils down to 'look at this, its happening in the world, now here's the next NEW story for you to care about momentarily.' While I'm not asking for them to solve or get to the root of every story they publish, I take issue with the fact that they almost never commit to the issues they're presenting; like many people of this generation, they're informed, but don't take any action whatsoever. It has reached a point where it feels like everything they present is for entertainment under the false guise of being informative and beneficial.
They've covered all these stories, and have done nothing other than make us think "wow.. Well, what's the next story?"
"fake outrage" "ironic racism""
