It's not. He used to be my favorite battle rapper. But he is such a one trick pony...Oddly enough if you asked me this a week after Con vs Surf came out, I actually would have put him in my 5 still but now it's just make it stop man

I feel like I'm penalizing him too much for the hitman battle but shyt he was horrible. I felt he beat surf but still.

So did I, Surf will have one nice bar and the rest is just "I see a bytch in your eyes con, i gotta lift my gun up from the side con."
But back to this hitman vs con thing I did aswell but it's not just that battle, all his other battles after surf have been less than exemplary plus the style is just getting old now, plus I kind of feel like he is on his "I'm on wild n out so I ain't gotta go hard anymore" flow.

As wierd as this sounds, I think he gives us way too many bars. Like it just gets ridiculous. Most them are personalized though I give him that but it's like man just chill.

imo jc been putting in a ton of work and has a few bodybags. he shows up even on wack leagues. and lyrically not many are creative and consistent as him.
dude has stage presence, bars, jokes, etc. jc still needs bigger battles but he done enough for me to get in my top

math regardless of the punch still was putting in work and again ton of battles and you cant say he clearly lost any of them.

hollow has done enough overall where i can take 1 battle in 2 years from him. and his last battle was great.

A late reply but good points fam, I may have been too hard on the Math and Hollow when ranking them but believe me it wasn't to slight them. It's just with so many dope battlers out I started to put small shyt under a microscope and scrutinized a little to hard when making my list. I'd still keep JC on my list, but I'd replace Swave and Hitman with Math and Hollow.

Negative. He killed Cortez and Arsonal IMO. Verb is that nikka.

And no one ever thought he was losing vs hitman til big Gerald until X factor said that. Before then it was a general consensus that verb clearly took that from hitman.

Verb is like surf to me he brings out everyone A game and he got a ton of debatables.

Difference between verb and surf is verb has some clear bodybags and some all time great performances whereas surf only clear win is vs brixx and its a debate all day vs everybody else.

IMO Surf has only beaten K Shine & Brixxx. nikka is mr debatable.

But what's better, having all debatables or having some dope wins but 2 clear 3-0 losses I'd probably have verb a couple steps under surf even tho skill wise verb at his best is probably better. Verb is so inconsistent and I really don't know why.
