I actually thought it was pretty decent just lacking a scary twist.

I wouldn't know where to take it to be honest. In terms of another chapter.

I see many ways you could take it.

Say he gets to the repair shop and discovers the repairmen has been killed by one of the goat people, the protagonist manages to escape, but runs on foot into the woods, leaving his vehicle behind.

Now he’s stuck.

You can go into the back story of how the goat people came to be, develop your character more, sky’s the limit.

I agree with the above posters, some things can be a little more descriptive like maybe the car or the goathuman thing, but great story

Dope bro. I set a goal to write 10 short stories last year.

I think I got up to 7 ( if I count multiple parts). I might post one of mine later.

Not sure, if they are still doing it, but Monkey Paw Productions (Jordan Peele) was allowing writers to submit their work to them with the chances of them working with you. You should check them out.

I submitted 2 stories, but didnt get any feedback from them. Was worth a shot tho.
