It’s real.

going to pre order one today. I use my mpc live with Maschine on just about everything I do, I’ve been dying for a stand-alone maschine.

I hope it can load all Kontak libraries.

Looks cool but I'm not going back to hardware sequencers which don't have a mouse to arrange in a Piano Roll like FL.

That would be a dream come true!

I might get it. From what i understand, you can use it as a controller exactly like the mk3 with the mashine software OR you can use as standalone. Suppose to be 32GB internal and comes with a 64GB card.

I almost pulled the trigger on the mk3 and on a laptop a couple of weeks ago. Glad i didn't :banderas:

There's no battery and the issue with these stand alone devices is you don't have support for VST's.

Yeah i just peeped the battery issue:patrice:

As far as VSTs, it seems like you could also use it like a regular mk3 on a computer. I see your point but don't really see it as a downside if it does the exact same thing as the mk3.

EDIT: Yeah, yhe more i think about it, (forgot to factor in the dollar conversion...) im gonna wait for reviews. Reading some comments, seems like the expensions and all that take much space. Also read that you might not be able to use the screens if you are out of stand alone modes.

Definitely not a first day cop. Will wait for reviews...

Might wait to see if mk3 goes on sale or if i can get one second hand...

I would have preferred the MAJOR update with the software then dropped the standalone . I just purchased the the live 2 and to me it's better . I'm not going to rattle off the spec you can look it up. Only thing I wish the live had was 4GB of ram ....other than that I think the live 2 is dope. The heart and center of my studio is the Maschine MK3 . I just want that MAJOR software update ...it's going to be a lot of people pleased when it comes out .... probably more so with that than the standalone.

I don't get why they didn't wait for the software. It would have been nice to debut both. Must mean the software is a few months off at least.

At this price point this is more for professionals. The mk3 and mikro are for regular folks. It would be nice if they made a portable unit to compete with the 404. That's a market no one ever tries to tap into. Price it at 250 and it'll sell.
