If u think Murda Inc made better music than G-Unit go swim in bleach..

People who blame 50 on NY being :flabbynsick: are just being followers.. the only career 50 ended out of NY was Ja Rule who was making bubblegum shyt for bytches anyways.. if anything 50 held NY down when Jay Z decided to retire and put on other NY artists who went on to have hits and get platinum and gold plaques then nikkas turned on him after Kanye won the sales battle

New Yorks problem is 98% the new rappers coming out for the last 7 years have been trash.. the ones that were good had a lil buzz in the tri-state area and didnt capitalize on it at all then eventually became a joke to fans(Papoose, Vado, Saigon, etc.).. then u got nikkas like Uncle Murda and Maino who spend more time bytching about how flabbynsick NY is instead of spending that time trying to get themselves popping.. then u got nikkas like ASAP Rocky who come out of NY but doesnt have a "NY sound" so people who arent hipsters dont claim him but the nikka makes good music, fukk a NY "sound", wtf is a sound? nikkas just need to make good music and stop dropping the ball on blowing up

50 ruined hip hop:lolbron:

:russ: @ how the NY scene became when he took over. No coincidence the south took over when Jigga retired.

NY rap scene is like the American car industry. Once a powerhouse, the competition came in and overthrew them. Like how German and Japanese cars took over the road, is how other regions stepped up and made their Hip Hop superior.

if Ny is in a bad place, what city/state is in a good place?

You can't say ATL is hot, and then turn around and dismiss a new york rapper because he's not lyrical enough for you.
