and as far as tying this to unions...the Revis' types arent the players that we should worry about.

It was the bottom of the roster guys that needed the changed CBA.

Revis is already an extremely rich man.

Depends on the contract he's going to want. We cant afford to make him the highest paid defensive player ever.

We know he's not going to play on the last year of this deal.

TheJetsneed to figure it out and sit down with him before airing out what they want to do.

Woody Johnson is an idiot. Who didnt know it was him? The new GM was gathering his bearings just joining the team.

Tannenbaum was the idiot and should have been fired a long time ago...Woody isnt making football decisions imo...

As good as Revis is i dont know if i pay that kind of money to anyone but a qb

In todays game you cant have great defenses anymore you have to outscore people if you get a draft pick in next years draft and find your franhcise qb it wold be worth it:manny:

Revis isn't preventing them from being able to pay any player worth a damn. Before this team worries about how they'll pay an elite QB or pass rusher or whatever else, how about this team try getting one first.

I still do :blessed:

This nikka throwing the ball to chad schilens. I would never understand how he didn't break passing records this year :beli:

He was handing it off to Greene should have had a scary PA game :beli:

That line was blocking there ass off giving him a whole 1 to 2 seconds to get that ball off to those WRs they pulled off the street 2 :smugfavre:

I would trade Revis for some draft picks so we can get some talent on offense. We proved we could be good with out him. We also need get rid of David Harris, too slow.

No we didn't. That's a fallacy. The Jets proved that they could pick on Kyle Wilson whenever they wanted but decided to pick on the slow nonexistent ass linebackers instead.

The Jets can go get talent on offense this year if they want, without even needing to move Revis. Even if we draft the best rookies, all we'll have are a bunch of rookies who can't play to their fullest potential because of who the QB is.

#2 ranked pass defense might be skewed somewhat, but we still proved to be good in secondary without him. Kyle Wilson is not the answer as #2 CB, but don't make it seem like receivers had field days, if anything, if we had better linebackers our defense would hold up. Once we get more speed through front 7 our defense will be great even with out revis. Rex can always scheme up our defense to be good in secondary.

I think having Revis doesn't allow our defense to be as innovative. When Revis went down, they had scheme up ways to stop good receivers like having Trufant cover Welker in first new england game turned out be smart move.

When they wanted to pick on Kyle, they did. The Titans game was the biggest example of that. The Titans were as bad as we were. Once they keyed in on Kyle, they marched down the field and scored.

The only way to scheme Kyle to not make him a liability is to move him to free safety and I'm dead serious about that.
