why won't they just threaten Sanchez and tell him he won't start unless he doesnt get a pay cut?
if he gets cut he's not starting anywhere else, this is only chance to start, leverage that.
I bet jets fans would be ok with starting Sanchez for a year if it means keeping revis long term

With Keller leaving that means the 2008 Draft will have been 5 years ago and NOT A SINGLE JET DRAFT PICK remains from that year.

Where far away from winning anything why would he sign name players its like putting a band aid over a bullet wound at this point and putting us in more cap hell then we already are.
Get Mingo or Jones and well have three really nice young defensive players moving forward and next year with what looks like high picks we go crazy on the skill positions in the draft while clearing out the dead weight
With Revis we either get a first rounder or dont trade him and he then realizes nobodies gonna pay a cb off major surgery franchise qb money

I actually like the Way Itzik is goin about this right now .. but this part of your post makes it seem like we're going for a steller D and shytty O again. I'm pretty sure we've seen where that takes us. We need to be more balanced. That's just the way it is.

Tennessee might take one at 10, but we could always trade down and nab a guard and get extra picks, but that doesn't look promising.
