Folks think that shyt is cool too until the subway breaks down or they can't afford their rent.
It's crazy how 30 years ago, the big come up was escaping that city bullshyt for the suburbs. Now you got folks from the suburbs showing how ungrateful they are by paying to live in a bad situation in the city just to feel cool past their prime. It's so dumb. Plus NYC doesn't have what it used to have anyway. It's current allure is based off the past. The transplants done missed the prime and can't recreate it. Even riding the subways used to be fun and there was a culture associated with that shyt. That's gone now. Now you hear more people complaining about how fukked up it is instead of bragging about the subway line they lived next to. The MTA used to sell shirts off of that shyt alone.

As far as the hate goes NY is the only world class city in this country and the only one with anything resembling mass transit. If the Federal government actually invested in infrastructure none of this would be an issue.
