I lived in Mill Basin for majority of my life which is fairly close to that area. They made the right decision. Floyd Bennett Field is in the middle of no fukking where. And it’s right by the water? Oh hell nah.

There are ZERO trains out there, the buses are scarce and you could be waiting 30 mins to an hour to get one. You more likely to see a possum before a bus.

Should they put them in the new high rises downtown Brooklyn? There are people living right across the bridge in the Rockaways closer to the open ocean and further isolated than these folks will be.
There is a housing crisis in the city wtf these folks want.

There is little to no transportation in that area. It's pretty much impossible without a car. With that said, NYC is making themselves the laughing stock of the country.
But New Yorkers have been doing it forever. On average, a typical morning commute will consist of two buses and a train. That’s not including the walk to the train and your destination. shyt, I was 12 taking a bus to a train, to another bus. fukk makes them think they're so special?
