Right :heh: . Floyd Bennett is not the most convenient but it's accessible by public transportation. Wtf these people want:gucci: prime downtown locations.
OBVIOUSLY that is what they were expecting. They’re coming here expecting certain accommodations because those expectations have been met or exceeded for others. That’s the issue. They should’ve had ppl getting bussed to that location initially. People crossing the border and getting $, being placed in hotels, getting employment while we have ACTUAL homeless Americans in all these locations :deadrose:

What irritates me is that imagine if this was Trump, folks would say something but folks really scared to call Biden a shytty president. Dude been fukking up for 3 years straight funding afgans, ukrainians to come in here living in hotels and the whole nine and now the world, giving no relief to the citizens, rent relief, nothing and folks lying saying hes doing a good job or scared to talk. Sad shyt that really is cringeworthy and unbelievable

Right. And some of these folks are entitled as fukk. Talking about too far from their kids school or support system.

When you think about it it's better to jump the border than go through the legal process.
Most people that come legally (speaking from the perspective of a west Indian) have to stay in someone's basement or spare room usually deep in Brooklyn or queens till they can come up.
If they have kids they have to wait years to bring them here too. When the kids come they're usually working in long island, CT etc while the kids have to raise themselves.

On the other hand these folks that bumrush the border get put up in hotels, kids get enrolled in schools, near by, drivers license, jobs lined up, etc :heh:

It’s like a 15 minute ride to Flatbush junction via the Q35

Everything is at Flatbush junction and many off the book jobs too

very poor planning on his part, he should have created a fixed period 1 or 2 years economic zone in the area for flea shops to operate inside Floyd bennet field and maybe even food trucks, there should have been a citibike stations and provided passes since shuttle busses wouldn't cover all transportation scenarios.

Q35 does arrive every 10-30mins depending on the hour of the day but It probably isn't enough if they're housing up to 2,000 people.
