Agree with you on NJ and NY being too different spots but what you said most definitely isn't true in the bolded. There's a lot of NY transplants living in new jersey as well as a lot of jersey transplants living in new York. Same thing with work. You have new Yorkers that work in jersey and jersey people that work in new York. You pretty much have people from both states going back and forth between. It's rare to find or hear anybody from the NYC and north jersey area that has NEVER left their state. It's almost unheard of. You'll have people's who families are all over the Tristate too so this whole new York and new Jersey doesn't mess with each other thing you're putting across isn't true.
You're correct, there's hardly any way someone from Ny or Nj doesn't deal with the other state in some shape or form. Half of my family comes from NY personally. So there's always some connection the states are virtually interconnected. What I'm saying is that you'll hardly find anyone from either state trying to claim that other state as their own. NY nikkas never wanna be grouped with NJ nikkas

Don’t no other southern state look like Texas

Some parts of texas look kinda like Louisiana. I done fell asleep on a trip before to louisiana and woke up and thought we was still in tx

I’m originally from Texas and thought like you until I came here. Virginia and the Carolinas are definitely the South. Especially the Carolinas. If you want to flip this, some people in the southeast don’t look at Texas as the true south.

:stopitslime:

Southeast cant say tx aint the south when you can look at a country map and we dead ass in the middle of the south. Lol. No southwest or southeast..straight south

It goes by culture, not direction. And culturally, parts of Texas is seen as the Southwest.
