The hoods of NY ain't even safer, it's jus that there is more police availabity now. There is a police car almost on every block nowadays.

Its a good thing that NYC is a little safer. I grew up in coney island/brooklyn during the 90s. I remember my brother telling me stories about nikkas gettin chased home by Decepts, Blood nikkas goin around givin people Buck 50s, halloween night, etc. I remember in high school, when my hood had static with Flatbush, and nikkas use to go at it every now and then. Aint nothing like growing up in NYC. I wouldnt trade growin up out here for no other place. NYC is still kinda wild tho. Nowadays, its alotta young homegrown gangs out here.
