I knew exactly how this thread would go when I saw the title lol. I know her and she’s is a sweetheart. You’d think s chick that looks like her would be stuck up but she’s not.

She went to college down in Florida and left Charlotte news after they made her fall back after sending shots at Bruce Jenner.

She moved to Chicago, got natural hair, and married a white man so she could live Downtown.

Are yall at all surprised? Knew this broad would be shacked up with a white dude.

I was out enjoying the great weather with the wife this weekend going to trendy spots in the city and the only black people I saw were with white significant others. It seems to be an epidemic among middle/upper class blacks over here.

Not a lot of conscious well paid black men want to be around cacs like that, because we have to deal with them enough during the week. But if you are well paid, you're going to be dealing with whites, and some of the opposite sex, and they're going to find you attractive. All those factors add up.

Women usually want luxury and the white men have most of the money in Chicago, so you get results like this. The Museum Park Tower building she lives in, condos go for $500k+ for views of Soldier Field and Millenium Park , most af-am's live south of Roosevelt. The closest I ever lived to downtown was Lincoln Park, back in my 20's after college, which was diverse. I don't know many upper class blacks downtown now, and the ones I know are single. I'm in Hyde Park now but when I lived in Mag Mile there were a good number of black people (relatively) that were in my building and area. Must of them were single. I don't see it as much as dude was saying but that also depends on specifically where you go. He's gotta remember that alot of colleges are around there and obviously the younger crowd will be more interracial because there ain't aren't that many of us. They go to school together, work together, live in student apartments together etc. Going somewhere like North Ave Beach or Castaways then yeah, you may not see many black people and there's a good chance that there might be mixed couples if they are locals. But going on Hubbard St on a day like today and I can guarantee that there will be quite a few black people out and they'll mostly be with brothas and sistas. My little group of people when I was down there and we all live down there was exclusively black. No swirling. All young professionals (bankers, lawyer, med student etc).
