it may be true that upwardly mobile black women will associate more with white men because white men have more money on average, but that is not the case here or in the majority of cases i see.

She is half white so its whatever but i know so many middle class or aspiring upper middle class black women that will date almost any guy that is white but a black guy has to be 6 certs and well in the 6 figures.

Assuming she is even attracted to black men, i bet she wont give a black tennis working at the local sport clubs a chance, a black guy will definitely have to be more established financially.

I see our folks all the time. Our building has several Black residents, mostly millennial men. The top floor (yes the entire floor) is owned by a Black couple. The husband is a federal banker, or at least thats what the building gossip says. Its when you go past Gold Coast into Lakeview shyt gets super white.

Yeah chicago isn't on that interracial stuff like other cities. You still see tons of black couples even well to do black couples.

But the north side has really changed due to gentrification. I remember going to the beach by lincoln park zoo and seeing tons of black folks as a kid.

Now a days you don't even really see black folks out there. Just shows how the area has changed in the last say 15 to 20 years.

i don't know her or her husband but i'm willing to bet that his family is wealthy. a lot of these white guys who played tennis, lacrosse, soccer etc but never went pro end up coaching b/c they're never under any financial pressure.
