This is a problem that you claim doesn't exist.So you ignore the fact that people have experienced throttling from various ISPs like comcast?? You ignore the fact that the link you posted the person said that PSN caps speeds yet several people posted proof of their connection not being capped?? You will conveniently ignore the proof I posted because it doesn't fit your agenda? ?Instead cling onto ONE person's problems? The person literally says that PSN caps speeds yet there's ample evidence to the contrary.

A simple Google search shows that people do have a problem. And I'll admit that some people say they don't have that problem. every example also shows that live is always faster than psn on the same connection.
I posted proof of my account being compromised, isn't that proof in the pudding that psn is unsecured? I had to fight to get money back from a game bought on an account that isnt mine, isn't that proof in the pudding of terrible customer service?

Microsoft spends tons of money on servers and network infrastructure. Sony doesn't talk about their network.

Can a breh not want some transparency in how this money will actually make psn better and not just line sony's pockets?

I wanna know whats the return on my investment. I'd pay 70$ a year if sony came out and said they were investing in building a network infrastructure more massive than live. If sony came out and said this cost increase will make psn BETTER than live, I'd be in this thread celebrating.
As of now they announced a price increase, and nothing else. No word on improvements or anything.

They need to talk about that then, in relation to this increase in price. This announcement with no substance is not a good look.
It's a lose lose situation tho. If they announce they using $ for more stability, 2 step authentication, 60 fps for streaming etc... That could piss gamers off that don't give a damn about those features. It's just is what it is.

that's the problem with services like this. sure it's a good value if you take advantage of all the 'free' games, discounts, etc. but there's no cheaper option for people that just want to play a game online here and there
And that's a problem for the idiot that don't take advantage of the service tho.
