I was listening to a stream today and the host made a point that resonated with me. Voting for Democrats is essentially delaying fascism. A far right autocracy is always one missed vote away and just one term of a Republican can do irrevocable damage.

At some point we're going to have to talk about dismantling the Republican party as an institution. Its is the most dangerous political institution in human history.

You're right OP. We must vote Democrat to keep the country from descending further into a right wing autocracy. What they're completely missing is that even if Dems were to passed legislation for reparations it would be challenged by this Supreme Court. IDK anyone IRL who doesn't vote somewhat regularly, but I got some people to vote in the primaries when they would have just waited until November.
