killzone got some honorable mentions because it was possibly a "sharper" looking game. But overall RYSE still won out. sharpness is not all there is to visuals. you can have a wack player model that looks like polygons vs an actual body. but if the polygons are REALLY sharp, some of you will think that looks better. thats not the case.

that Ryse is looking real sexy in that video. no hating on the other game. but RYSE is taking it in this comparison video.

and i'll even help you out once again. the difference between these two games are exactly what has been stated before.

PS4 great looking game makes sure that you see everything sharply and even thing in the distance as in with your real eyesight(depending on your eyesight).

xbox one with Ryse is making sure you are watching an epic MOVIE. there's a difference.

have you ever seen the blur effect used in the movies? where the focus is on whats directly infront of the camera and everything outside of that thing is blurred. because at the end of the day you are watching this character or thing. you are not watching whats going on 25 miles away in the background.

the same applies for games. the only time you really care about something thats 20 miles away is when you hit pause and say "wow look at that." but thats not gaming. thats pressing pause. mid game during the action the last thing you will care about is if you can see super sharp images 25 miles away. you ill be concentrating on your character and whats going on right there in front of you.
