You fought the good fight I will give you that.

Lowry won't even be a Hall of famer.
What does that have to do with anything? I was never comparing their careers or accolades. Just Lowry at his peak v. Kidd at his peak. How many times do I need to repeat this? If we were to compare all the PGs in NBA history at their peaks (or in their primes), Kidd would be so far down the list you'd need binoculars to see his name. Kidd's place on an all-time list has more to do with his longetivity, rather than his peak.

You really can't blame Lowry for this series other than saying he is being too passive. Demar Derozan on the other hand has been quiet

Lowry's 2017 season (and his play in the previous season too) is greater than any of Kidd's. Just a flat out, more dominant season than Kidd ever had. Kidd would need to have had some Draymond-type impact on defense to make up the margin that he gives up to Lowry, offensively, during that season.

Peyton Manning's 2013 season shyts all over anything Brady's done too, so I guess Peyton is a better QB then :mjlol:

Toronto should trade Lowry, Val and all their future 1st round picks for Khawi and Terry Rozier. That team just doesn't play defense and outside of Dezoran has no scoring threat.

And before you reply, that ball chucker Lowry is not a threat to opposing teams.

Put Prime Lebron and these Cavs against that Kidd team in the ECF, would Kidd win?
A game? Yes. Lowry can’t even help his team do that.

The Lowry > Kidd idea is stupendously ridiculous though. But look at the idiots parroting it and you won’t really take it that seriously in the first place. :yeshrug:

Lowry's already helped his team take two games off the Cavs/LeBron in a past series. And if DeRozan bothered showing up yesterday, the Raptors would've been in prime position to take another one off them. Care to explain how replacing Lowry with Kidd would put them in a better position to win, when the Raptors would be notably worse off offensively?

It's only "stupendously ridiculous" to those who don't know how to use their brains, and would rather believe in fairytales. Nostalgia =/= reality.
