You fought the good fight I will give you that.
Lowry won't even be a Hall of famer.

What does that have to do with anything? I was never comparing their careers or accolades. Just Lowry at his peak v. Kidd at his peak. How many times do I need to repeat this? If we were to compare all the PGs in NBA history at their peaks (or in their primes), Kidd would be so far down the list you'd need binoculars to see his name. Kidd's place on an all-time list has more to do with his longetivity, rather than his peak. You fought the good fight I will give you that.

I'm talking about this series. Replace Lowry with Kidd and they're still getting swept.
And Lowry doesn't play as a PG?
All that and Lowry is still better.Kidd got to two finals and second best player was Kenyon Martin

Lowry's 2017 season (and his play in the previous season too) is greater than any of Kidd's. Just a flat out, more dominant season than Kidd ever had. Kidd would need to have had some Draymond-type impact on defense to make up the margin that he gives up to Lowry, offensively, during that season.Show me when lowry dropped 17 ppg 11 apg 7 rpg and 2.3 spg in the same season,
Ill wait

Peyton Manning's 2013 season shyts all over anything Brady's done too, so I guess Peyton is a better QB then![]()

A game? Yes. Lowry can’t even help his team do that.Put Prime Lebron and these Cavs against that Kidd team in the ECF, would Kidd win?

Lowry's already helped his team take two games off the Cavs/LeBron in a past series. And if DeRozan bothered showing up yesterday, the Raptors would've been in prime position to take another one off them. Care to explain how replacing Lowry with Kidd would put them in a better position to win, when the Raptors would be notably worse off offensively?A game? Yes. Lowry can’t even help his team do that.

It's only "stupendously ridiculous" to those who don't know how to use their brains, and would rather believe in fairytales. Nostalgia =/= reality. The Lowry > Kidd idea is stupendously ridiculous though. But look at the idiots parroting it and you won’t really take it that seriously in the first place.![]()
