The Nexus did get worse over time for me. shyt leaks now even with it only being on wife (no sim card).

Apple and MS are so efficient on battery in standby. I took my iPhone off the charger last night before going to bed and it was at 99%. I used it a few minutes and didn't put it back on the charger and it was at 99% when I picked it up this morning. When I make that mistake with my Nexus, I have to take a charger to work with me :heh: I used to be able to do the same thing with my Nokia 920 too.

I'm sure Android's battery problems are way deeper than what if appears on the surface. It would probably take a full OS rewrite to get it right.

android has been that way from the jump it's gotten better, I remember the htc evo and s3:mjlol:

Can't laugh cuz I can download torrents, while surfing on android, I can literally use it like a pc granted the memory is there.

apple and ms is bare as it gets,

I guess we want a computer in a pocket without the issues and apple banks off simplicity.:yeshrug:

Bruh I got the Evo on the day it dropped. I was so excited. I was headed on a road trip as soon as I left the store and I wasn't the driver. I was so eager to tinker with it. That shyt was dead by the time we got there and the trip was under 3 hours :russ:

It would make sense if it only uses heavy resources when you're using your phone like a computer, but all I do is use a few apps and browse the coli. No reason to be :flabbynsick: when I'm not doing shyt.

I hope they drop this Marshmallow update this week. I stayed away from all of the developer preview ROMs over on XDA. Eager to see what they changed

it's a pc without the use of a pc. To much resources and it's just a damn phone, no need for that. The older android phone couldn't go two hours needed to be recharged. These new one are much Better but sbt is still crap.

Google needed to tune down the nerd shyt and just make a good phone. No losing 25 percent overnight.

These smartphones still ain't shyt to a pc. Browsing is still trash except for mobile sites.

For me to download from a file sharing site is some work compared to pc.

You can download torrent on IOS, really don't know why you would want too though.

With the exception of widgets/customization and open downloading, both platforms basically do the same shyt. That's why I had to stop compromising on the shyt that actually matters.

Yeah I've never understood that level of downloading on a phone. Unless you're trying to get something to only consume on your phone, you can be much more efficient building a home server with external access and do all of your shyt through there on the go. Maybe I'm just getting old though.

been that way for a few years but you cant tell nobody especially android users that, they are so defensive and argumentive about their phones.. Half the time they either don't know what they are talking about or don't use the gimmick shyt android gives you that makes them different.. Its all a matter of familiarity the same with OSX and windows, OSX is more stable and consistent but if you grew up with pc you aint trying to learn a new OS especially if you aren't a tech person.. To be honest most of these new upgrades go over the heads of the average user

If the battery for the 6P has a legit great battery life and fast charging (does USB-C even support fast charging?) I'm getting that day one.

I agree however I did download a 5 gig file from torrents from my phone. It's goto do once in a while but it's a rare occasion for most users.

I will say android lag is a issue of processes running in the background.

Android is nice but alot of stuff is just not needed. I don't really need widgets and I'd rather have them on the lockk screen than opening my phone. Give me ESPN scores on the lock macree and maps and I'm good.

Exactly lol that custimization is fun like the first week uou get a phone but after that who the hell cares. Open downloading is clutch though but with a JB On ios you get that feature back.
