which RBs have been AP as a flex? They've had flex position since like 2021 or 2022. That's when they eliminated two HB spots.
they propping up McCaffery. Shoe-horning him into the hall of fame. Watch lol.
Doing the same with Stafford

That is New England Patriots 2026 first-team all-pro George Pickens..

@smitty22When you're that high in total receptions it's difficult to ignore youYes, Chase did not have Burrow for part of the season, but he still had Flacco who can still throw the ball well. I'm open minded, but I don't see how he got first team over Pickens. Don't forget Lamb was out for a bit, where Pickens had to face coverage from the #1 CB on opposing teams.
Chase had 125 receptions, 185 targets, 1,412 receiving yards, 8TD's, and averaged 11.8 yards/reception.
Pickens had 93 receptions, 137 targets, 1,429 receiving yards, 9 TD's, and 15.4 yards/reception.
I don't see one category there where Chase is more impressive or productive. I know you can't extrapolate statistics, but Pickens would have blown Chase out of the water if he had the same amount of targets. Hell, you don't even have to do that and his numbers are clearly better.
Edit: I think Chase is excellent, but I don't see the argument for him being first-team.
Flex position was introduced in 2016 before McCaffrey was a thing lolwhich RBs have been AP as a flex?

Why not? Similar stats and Ja'Marr had to deal with backup QBs.
It's not cut and dry that Pickens was better.
Just heard fox say he’s had a hall of fame worthy career lol
WELL IT LOOKS LIKE THEYRE
GOING TO GIVE STAFFORD THE MVP

If you're looking at raw yardage and TD's, then the statistics are similar. If you're looking at their yard per reception, total receptions, and targets, they aren't.
I understand Chase had Flacco part of the season, but Flacco can still throw the ball. It's not like Flacco was a poor backup QB. Pickens had significantly less targets and receptions, yet put up more yards and TD's. I don't think Chase not having Burrow makes up that difference.....

That's usually the case, though last year people thought, including me, that Lamar was going to win it, because he was first team All-Pro, but he didn't.
