People only hate Fisher because they foolishly think he messed up Vince "mental midget" Young's career.
They hold McNair in too high of a regard too. He was a good, not great QB.

Only 2 Black QBs ever REALLY impressed me, and that was Warren & Randall. McNabb was serviceable, so i guess him too
Never said he was, there's a lot of not good coaches in the NFL. Can't have 32 good coaches.
Rex Ryan got 6 years in the New York market, think about that shyt. And even moreso, think how people think he deserves another HC gig when he missed the playoffs 4/6 of them years and is probably gonna be 2-14.
Fischer got to a SB, that's gonna get you another job usually.
Honestly, he's doing quite well with a pretty under-talented STL team.

Nah McNair was the truth. Like a poster earlier said he was hamstringed by a very bland offense. Also he played for a team where his BEST receiver was Derrick Mason. There's a reason he won co-MVP despite the Peyton D riding. He had a 3 year run where he was that dude. Reminds me a lot of Russell Wilson with height.
The only knock on McNair was that he wasn't great for long and he was very injury prone. He may have not had the career of McNabb, but his peak was much higher IMO

We can criticize Vince for a lot of things. We can acknowledge Jeff's longevity with respect.
However, it WAS VY who saved his job TWICE!
His rookie the Titans started off terrible. It was all but guaranteed that Fisher was going to be gone after the year. Then the Titans/VY went on a run to finish 8-8. Unfortunately they had the Patriots to finish the season. VY saved his job that year.
VY saved his job during his 4th year as well. The Titans were about to fire Fisher again. They started the season off terribly (Like 1-6 I believe) Then VY and CJ2K took over and that extended his career.
I like Jeff as a coach. I think Vince lost Jeff before Jeff lost Vince. Vince went off the rails and blamed Jeff because he wasnt playing at a higher level. When in reality.....VY was just an average QB who was clutch as hell. Fisher protected Vince from a lot of shyt. So I'll always think they both played a part in it.
But VY saved Jeff's job twice. No doubt about it.
D coaches don't get teams to the playoff and to the SB.
I agree with you he didn't belong to be a coach for as long as he has, as in his tenure in Tennessee should have been much shorter, but any coach who gets to a SB deserves to get a 2nd job.
