Only Reason I Still Care/Watch It Is For Fantasy Football :smugfavre:
its sad, but im in the same boat.
Im not about to drop $500 to be cold as hell @ a Bears game.

and Football fans get too drunk at them games. Its not even fun if you get stuck next to some drunk ass Dan Conner looking cats.

Not necessarily.

Most of those games are good team vs. below average team.

Who (besides local fans) wants to see the Titans get ganked by the Steelers on a night game when folks have to work the next day?

Now, Steelers/Ravens or Patriots/Jets? That's more like it.

But Monday Night Football is on it's death bed anyway. The only thing that can save it is if CBS or Fox gets the Monday night contract. Good luck with that.

These greedy fakkit owners and Goodell need a harsh reality check. 40% drop in PSL sales (which are the REAL reasons why prices aren't lower). They feel that pinch, and those ticket prices will drop like a rock.

Ummmmm Tennessee was better than the Jets last season so why are you saying their game against Pittsburgh would be a drubbing but the Jets vs. the Patriots wouldnt be? Plus a good team vs. a mediocre one does not make the game awful. An awful game would have been something like Jax vs. IND last season.

Look at the MNF schedule right now. On paper it looks good but the problem is that they cant flex games and its damn near impossible to determine which NFL teams will be upper echelon 4 months in advance.

Good. PSL is the biggest scam in sports.

I've been to both college and NFL games and college games have better atmosphere but I prefer NFL games. Sittin down>>>>standing for 3 hours straight on metal bleachers. I like goin to NFL games and seeing the entire field. And I prefer watching college games at home cuz it's so many games on.

That's cool, but I like standing for hours just to be in the atmosphere. Chanting with drunk college girls :ahh:

I agree on alot of this. I copped 4 upper level tickets to the Giants/Panthers game in Sept. and it ran me $235. The common fan is not able to go to the games at all in the NFL.

Also, the timeout situation in football (all sports except hockey, really) is god awful. Why the hell do we need TD, timeout, kickoff, another timeout? There is no flow to the game at all. With the kickoffs at the 35 again, it's 10 minutes between the TD and the 1st down of the next possession.

College is no better. That TV timeout dude with the big orange glove is gonna get hurt one day. I HATE seeing that dude on the field!

When I lived in Michigan. I would go to at least one Lions game a year.

Decent seats for 2 people. $200+
Parking $20-30
Food and Drinks for 2 $50

Run 300-400 bucks for 2 people to enjoy a game.

Just was more hassle and costly then sitting at home in PJ watching on big tv and eatting and drinking good for cheap.

No sport has a wider gap between the "at the game" experience and the home experience, imo. Well, maybe hockey...but that's the other way around lol

I don't even want to talk about what I'm paying for those PSL's.

All I do know is that I appreciate the WiFi connection now because there is none at Met Life stadium.

Crazy that they would drop the price of the NFL Ticket so drastically this year when they are trying to encourage more people to go to the games.

I went to a couple of Texans games last year and I rather stay my ass at home in my gym shorts and tee and eat rotel dip, drink beer, and fart when ever I want to.

One of the games I was seating next to a drunk ass mexican guy who knew nothing about football. Throughout the entire game, he kept yelling; that white cant run. The other game, I was seating in front of some folks who kept saying they couldnt see when people were celebrating; might I add they did not get up not one time when the Texans scored.

I spent some much money going to the game not to be happy after the game. Parking, game tickets, food, beverages, souvenir (Texans towel); Total over $160.00. fukk that.

I guess the in person experience would be great at a different stadium.
