Have all six divisions in they playoffs is special treatment. I bet you would not watch if division counted for nothing anymore. And if the Giants don't get there oh well. It's a game. Get better and come back. Nothing wrong with dynasties.

Having all eight, not six, divisions IS PLAYOFFS you dumb ass motherfukker

No answer this question, are the best teams in all the divisions in the playoffs right now

Yes.

That does not mean they are the best teams in league. They are not. is Green Bay Better then Arizona? Answer carefully.

Division shouldn't count for jack. If the entire division could not win 10 or 11 games then none of them should be playoff teams. Why are you make this so difficult.

Arizona are not better than San Fran and that's who Green Bay are playing, so if they beat them then I guess that would make them better

But you damn well thats not how football works, the best team doesn't always win

Explain dumb ass

if the an NFC east, West, and North time all of the same record,I would they do the tie breaker if they never played each other by chance
or if they split the games they played each other

the tiebreakers are within the DIVISION, which is why the system is setup the way it is you fukking simpleton

You're a dumbass.

They have tiebreakers for that . Have you ever heard of better conference record, common opponents, and a strength of victory. All of that cover that if those teams didn't play each other, you c*nt.

its impossible for every team in the league to play each other to have all those factors

there's only two conferences, so with all the teams needing a tie breaker are in the same conference, and what if they lost to the same team by the same margain of victory
you see what I'm saying, there's too many things that will come up and complicate it

the system is fine the way it is, the best teams always end up winning

People really wanna do away with divisions? :what:

Divisional play breeds regional rivalries. Rivalries breed passion.

Look no further than the NBA. Divisions mean jack shyt and that's why the league has to try and manufacture rivalries instead of letting them sprout organically.

"WELCOME TO NBA ON TNT WHERE THE KNICKS HOST THE HEAT! I'LL TELL YA MARV THESE TEAMS SURE DO HATE EACH OTHER. LET'S LOOK BACK AT THAT FIGHT THAT HAPPENED 15 YEARS AGO!"

:aicmon:

The emphasis on divisional play is one of the contributing factors to the NFL's success. You shouldn't t downplay the importance of winning your division. If you're mad you don't have a home game then win your division and you won't have to worry about it.

Nobody is talking about doing away with divisions. People are just taking issue with 8-8 squads getting guaranteed home games.

That said people need to stop elevating the importance of divisions. If divisions and regional rivalries were so important they wouldn't have changed the divisions around like they did a decade ago. Last time I checked Miami and NE and NY aren't in the same region. DAL and NY, PHI, WASH aren't either. All divisions are are random groupings of teams for scheduling purposes. There was a time when the majority of your games were intra-division games and travel wasn't what it is now. But now we live in a totally different world and this "just win your division" shyt that people keep spouting is just manufactured as any NBA rivalry you want to name.

:laff:/:comeon: at Divisions being a contributing factor for anything. People follow the NFL like they do because:

1. It's once a week so it has that event feel
2. Gambling
3. Fantasy
4. Everybody else is doing it
