its not insignificant, your guaranteed a spot in the playoffs but it shouldnt guarantee a home game

Or you can just take the top 6 seeds in a division-less conference. If winning your division no longer gets you a home game, what's the point when you'll get the exact same effect with conferences void of divisions.

:ehh: Thats fine too. To your point though you have some teams that wouldn't even be in the playoffs if it wasn't for winning their division so it wouldn't be the same.

About time. Just do the top 7 in each confrence - 14 teams by record. You don't win 10 games, no playoffs. No more weak division getaways.

I am with everything but adding a team. The current set up with all at-large entrants would be perfect.

I agree but more teams, more money.

NFL parity is a sham anyway though. It's created mediocre teams, and the one off playoff system gives the illusion anyone has a chance. A best of 5 series, and the same teams would win just like the MLB and NBA.

Its not really a sham. Its inherent, there's no way the NFL can do a "best of" any series

100% agree. I personally just prefer the current set up. If it would take the addition of more teams to cut the division sham out then I'd be willing to make that exchange.
