Not this year.
How do you figure?
Not this year.
You're goal as a team is to first win your division, then when your conference, then when the superbowl
what the fukk are you talking about
if you want homefield advantage win your division bottom line, stop making excuses for what you can't do that
Because GB should be out and Arizona should be in.How do you figure?
The 49ers lost their division fair and square.. how did they get screwed?
Lets look at their losses... Seattle, Indy, New Orleans, Carolina. All playoff teams.
Lets look at their wins. Seattle, Arizona twice. And they beat Green Bay at home in Week 1.
Then you have, Atlanta, Houston, Jacksonville, Tennessee, St. Louis twice, Tampa Bay and Washington![]()
It would be better if they had lost to non-playoff teams?
But hey the other 3 squads in their division sucked so they earned their playoff berth and home game right?

It's not about being better
Green Bay are divison champs frisco are not
if they were better than they should beat them, the already beat them once a home during the season

I don't need anybody to speak for me breh.
3 divisions would be cool but in all honesty they can just do away with divisions for all I care. The notion of divisions is outdated to be frank. I don't need manufactured drama to be entertained and that's pretty much all divisions are good for in today's league.
You're incredibly stubborn. The best playoffs is the NHL before this year. The best teams always make it and division in hockey(before this year) didn't get home ice.
NHL, really,
the best teams always make in the NFL what are you talking about
@ the best teams always making the NFL playoffs. you gotta be trolling at this point. the irony of it is that youre defending a team that won 8 games.that looks like a pretty good resume to me.
and i find it funny how you conveniently left out the packers in your previous post.. and they beat the packers without crabtree, but the packers had rodgers, cobb and the whole staff, record label & crew.
and those 2 wins over the rams are good. you think the rams are a bad team? the only reason they had a losing record is BECAUSE OF THEIR DIVISION. put them in the north and they probably win the division over the packers.

Because GB should be out and Arizona should be in.
dog. do you even bother reading what you type?
eh. i cant cosign this one.
the rivalries that stem from the divisions are one of the main reasons why the NFL is running the sports world. hence, the reason why the dolphins didnt switch divisions when the afc south was created.
no need to blow up the divisions. altering the playoff format is all thats needed.
yea. the best playoffs are indeed the NHL. and im just a casual hockey viewer. i never noticed that the division winners werent automatically given home ice. thats probably why the product always flourishes come playoff time.
yes. NHL. it will never get its props because its partially seen as a niche sport. but yea, they have the best playoffs out of all the pro leagues.
@ the best teams always making the NFL playoffs. you gotta be trolling at this point. the irony of it is that youre defending a team that won 8 games.
Not this year. And yes the NHL had a better system last year. They ruined it.
stop coppin pleas
at the end of the day the 49ers failed to win their divison. They only won 2 games against playoff teams. Deal with it. They about to play in below zero weather.![]()
So losing to playoff teams is a bad thing? It would be better if they had lost to non-playoff teams?
Who did the Packers beat?
Do you realize that NONE, let me repeat that, NONE of the teams they beat made the playoffs? Who exactly were all the juggernauts on their schedule? They played 3 playoff teams and lost to all 3.But hey the other 3 squads in their division sucked so they earned their playoff berth and home game right?

This more teams are in the east so its harder for eastern teams to make the playoffs. It's for expansion (soon) but still.what happened?
i know they restructured the conferences. detroit on the east now. weird. why?
i see that youre one of those "comedic" posters.
good day.
San Fran beat Green Bay on the road at the beginning of the year WTF are you talking about

This more teams are in the east so its harder for eastern teams to make the playoffs. It's for expansion (soon) but still.
Playing one or 2 teams from every division should be enough?Seeding should be by record.
But divisions should stay as should division winners getting an automatic playoff berth. There's no way for everybody to play everybody, so divisions make sense in the NFL
They won their division and that's all that matters.
Oh I see. You are one of those "Drugs are bad because they are illegal. Drugs are illegal because they are bad." types. You are just gonna keep circling back to to the same argument that suggests that having the most wins out of a random grouping of 4 teams is more significant than having the 2nd or 3rd most wins out of 16 or even 28 if you wanna go that far with it and there is nothing that anyone can say to get you off of that flimsy argument because you have dug in and really aren't even trying to be logical.Carry on.
