Saquon was the closest can't miss prospect of them all last year. The Giants made the right choice.

I would only say that if they can land Haskins, this draft. If not that choice is going to haunt them for year. Saquon was the best player on the board, no doubt but they would have been better served with Sam Darnold, or Josh Allen.

Has nothing to do with Saquon he’s a great player but the QB position is by far the most important position in today’s NFL you don’t pass up a potential franchise QB for a RB ever

I think the Giants are gonna see what Arizona does. If they draft Kyler they'll hit them up soon as his name is called and see what the price for Rosen is if they don't know beforehand, then draft OL with their 1st and trade for him.

Teams continuously miss on franchise QBs though. Saquon was as close to legit as you could get and he did deliver in that aspect. The only person I would have take over Saquon was MayGawd and he was gone by then.

chances of missing on QBs drafted high are much higher. Not like they can't get the QB this year. Saquon's don't come around too often either.

RBs have a much much shorter shelf life. Guys like Frank Gore and Emmitt are the exception. It's much more likely Saquon is done at age 30. The Giants are gonna suck again this year and Saquon's gonna have 400 more touches racked up on his body, more punishment and closer to FA.

Darnold is not a good decision maker going back to college. Does he have the tools? Yes. But I'll take accuracy any day over these annual big arm flops and poor decision makers who continously get cysed every damn year.

Damn I wish my Bucs could of grabbed Saffold, but at that price :patrice:

Our line already has about 35-40 mil tied up between Smith, Marpet, and Jensen and we still gotta find a guard and a replacement for Dotson.

Cappa gotta work out or that's another pick that might have to go to the line.

I'm wondering if we might be able to make a play for Telvin to be the starter if we don't bring back Barber.

:ehh:
wonder what the price for Rosen will be at that point...can’t get fleeced for an unproven player, right?
