It seemed last season they were checking out on Howard. I think they wanna featute Cohen more and they probably gonna use Mike Davis in between the tackles
They think Mike Davis can be straight up better it seems, and yes, Cohen was always going be more involved than Howard

They have also been meeting with many of the day 2 rookie RBs, so they must like multiple players there as well

I don’t think front office or coaching staff is sweating this move. He def wasn’t going to get resigned after next year and they knew that

He was well liked in the locker room though, so that’s always a negative, but it happens like this in the NFL.

A guaranteed 5th would have been nice, so I’m not loving this move, why not just ride it out one more year (also sucks he’s going to an in conference playoff team)

Quinn for a 2020 6th round pick?

Pretty much gave him away.

Must have just wanted to play in Dallas cause I have a hard team believing the saints couldn't do better than that to get him

yea, i thought they could have gotten a 3rd at the trade deadline then his value really dropped after a bad season

Mike Davis is on his 3rd team in 5 years, and Tarik is 180 lbs. they better do something else

My coach stay keeping it real :jumad:
"I think we've got a diversity problem, like this season, what took place, that's hitting us square in the face. I think that not a lot was written or discussed about it," Payton said. "There are a handful of coaches that I know that if I was a G.M. who I would be interested in hiring.

"So, I think more and more it's season-by-season and 'I want Alvin Kamara.' Well, you can't have him. You can go draft 10 more running backs and be 0 for 10 trying to find him or (Sean) McVay (as a coach). And so I see a lot of mistakes made in that process I feel like this long in and so we're excited to play those teams."

They get so pigeonholed into -- cause this is cyclical, right, this goes -- and ultimately you would say if we did a little history, successful head coaches probably come from the east and the west and north and south. They probably come of both color and they probably come on defense and on offense. And they're good leaders. They're great leaders. And, so, if you say 'well I just want the one that coaches quarterbacks and they're on offense,' well, then, you're going to end up with a smaller pool and you'll probably have less of a chance to be right, because already of eight hired there's going to be three that survive three years."

Dallas dopeboys rejoice :blessed:

Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the Cowboys extendedGregory’s contract through the 2020 season after acquiring defensive end Robert Quinn in a trade with the Dolphins last week.

Per the report, the team converted $310,000 of Gregory’s 2019 salary to a signing bonus and added a year worth $735,000 plus escalators to the pact.
