The Jaguars are the AFC's best chance to dethrone the Patriots. Strong running game, speed everywhere on defense, lock up secondary, and a pass rush that can cause havoc without having to blitz.

All Bortles has to do is not fukk it up against a defense that can't stop much of anything. I'm not saying they'd beat the Pats, but I'm saying they match up better than any other team outside of maybe KC (since they don't have Eric Berry).

Basically. Patriots need homefield and play hard come January.

To be fair, Foles is a good QB and played a good Giants defense. If you're going to play anyone, blame Eli for losing yet another winnable game by throwing a INT, which led to 14 unanswered Philly points.

The Giants defense gave up against CJ Beathard because the offense sucked, not because All Pro Janoris Jenkins, Landon Collins, DRC, etc make a poor defebse. The same Giants defense practically shut out the Broncos and other teams. They played hard against Foles tonight. He was just throwing dime and dime.

Foles is about 6'5, handles pressure well, has quicker feet than you expect, and has always been accurate as well as heady. The Giants defense was simply overwhelmed today having to account for so many weapons.
:usure:

"Good Giants defense" = 32 in YPG, 31 against the run, 28 in PPG, 27th in takeaways, and 29th (before yesterday) in DVOA.

The defense didn't quit against SFO because of the offense (the offense was actually tolerable that game; ~380 yards, 21 pts, 32 minutes TOP); some of the secondary quit because they were mutinying against McAdoo.

They gave up 370+ yards passing to Trevor Siemian when they played the Broncos; the only reason Denver didn't score more was because of a few breaks and their own fukk-ups.

Literally the only good/"good" offense they've shut down since the beginning of the year was the Chiefs and they needed the worst wind day Metlife has had since it opened and whoever was calling plays for KC being braindead to do it.

Regarding their talent level: Jenkins has been playing on a bad ankle for most of the season and has been out for weeks now with surgery on it. Collins hurt his ankle last week and tried to play, but had it give out on him early, making him a total nonfactor yesterday. DRC is my dude, I saluted him for helping with the fire McAdoo cause, but his jumping routes directly led to a wide open TD yesterday. They have no LBs. Their non-Collins safeties are trash. Their pass rush is absolutely pathetic.

Still, if you're going to blame anyone (and almost no Giants fan wants to win games right now anyway, so why) for yesterday, you only partially blame them and you definitely don't blame the QB that went for 430 yards with 3 TDs while getting the ball out in ~2 seconds because he threw one pick that was just as much the WR's fault as his; you'd blame the Giants' WOAT special teams, which haven't gotten anywhere near as much shyt as they deserve this year thanks to the fukkery on offense and defense.

Hawks should have invested in an OL long ago.

Mcvay may be the best player caller in the league.

Eagles will be aight come playofft time

Deandre Hopkins re-entred himself as a top 3-5 wideout.

Browns could’ve drafted Prime Aaron Rodgers and still have maybe 2 wins.

It was nice to see Teddy B Out there there even though his only attempt thrown was a pick :mjcry:
How?

The defense's stats are misleading. They are a top 10 D; this same defense cruised go the playoffs in 2016. Corners like Eli Apple also are still behaving badly even after McAdoo's departure, so McAdoo is not why the defense gave up. The defenses issues came because of the offense's anemic output and the defense getting blamed for it.

Janoris Jenkins was playing well and holding up until the constant 3 and outs, at which point he gave up. Same with Eli Apple. Collins played well yesterday until he came out with an ankle injury. At the one the Giants led 20-6, until around when Landon went out, remember?

DRC made a mistake, but that chance doesn't happen, 14 points along with it, if Eli doesn't hand Philly a TD with his INT. You never blame Eli for anything. The defense cannot carry him against a good schedule. Eli's stats over 5 years look like Brian Hoyer's.

Eli's TDs came from knowing the Philly defense from scheme familiarity. So did his INT, which was the game decider, as it set up 14 Philly points, which means more than 2 special teams fukk ups. Eli will be back to sucking after this week when he faces off against a team he doesn't know.

All comments are null and void when you just called the G-Men defense top 10..........you can't be a Giants fan.
