The defense's stats are misleading. They are a top 10 D; this same defense cruised go the playoffs in 2016. Corners like Eli Apple also are still behaving badly even after McAdoo's departure, so McAdoo is not why the defense gave up. The defenses issues came because of the offense's anemic output and the defense getting blamed for it.

Janoris Jenkins was playing well and holding up until the constant 3 and outs, at which point he gave up. Same with Eli Apple. Collins played well yesterday until he came out with an ankle injury. At the one the Giants led 20-6, until around when Landon went out, remember?

DRC made a mistake, but that chance doesn't happen, 14 points along with it, if Eli doesn't hand Philly a TD with his INT. You never blame Eli for anything. The defense cannot carry him against a good schedule. Eli's stats over 5 years look like Brian Hoyer's.

Eli's TDs came from knowing the Philly defense from scheme familiarity. So did his INT, which was the game decider, as it set up 14 Philly points, which means more than 2 special teams fukk ups. Eli will be back to sucking after this week when he faces off against a team he doesn't know.
