The stats don’t jump off the page because he has bought into the O being more multi-dimensional. Thry were talking about it last night. He’s not being asked to push the ball downfield constantly. Also the D benefits from this approach.

My theory is teams play hard and overachieve for Brady because they witness the work he puts in. You look at that Patriots team yesterday and it’s like no one on both sides of the ball are trying or even care. The Pats D always played hard to keep themselves in the game because they believed in Tom. Look at how Tampa Bay morphed into contenders instantly. Belichick needed to be humbled too.
