Jameis is my FSU goat but he largely held this team back.

My theory is teams play hard and overachieve for Brady because they witness the work he puts in. You look at that Patriots team yesterday and it’s like no one on both sides of the ball are trying or even care. The Pats D always played hard to keep themselves in the game because they believed in Tom. Look at how Tampa Bay morphed into contenders instantly. Belichick needed to be humbled too.

Yeah the Bucs play extra hard because they don’t want to be the reason they let Brady down. And they have that extra motivation of knowing that they always have a shot at the end if they keep it close.

On the flip side the Pats look like a bottom feeder team full of guys who are just there to collect checks. They don’t play hard for Cam, Beli, McDaniels...nobody.

Brady makes the playoffs this year and the Patriots win 5 or 6 games.... he can retire as the unquestioned GOAT and nobody will bring up Beli again.

Bucs were a few missed field goals from being 9-7 last year with Jameis turning the ball over more than 30 times. They literally just needed somebody who wouldn’t be that bad.
Exactly. Why play hard as a defense to get the ball just so your offense can give it right back. You’re talking just INTs. Don’t forget the fumbles.

Bucs were one of the best defenses in the league last year. Playing hard doesn’t matter when your QB turns it over 30+ times, it’s untenable

Cowboys offense has scored 13 points in 2 games without Dak yet he was the problem :mjlol:

Hate to see Seattle lose but I want AZ to get a wildcard so it worked out. Pete has to trade for pass rushers ASAP. Clowney hasn't done anything this year so letting him go was the right move but they need to improve the defense. I'd also try to get Engram if the Giants are willing to deal.

Why is Mahomes looking average this year? :patrice:

3rd in TD'S
4th in QB rating
5th in yards

What's your definition of average?

Bell is gonna be so key for KC down the stretch, he was basically the missing piece on offense. They’re showing that they can run the ball on teams is gonna force them to pick their poison

Hate to say it but Cam got next week to prove something or he may just get benched. May not be all on him but a change may spark something for the Patriots.
