I have an opinion about breh that would be considered a hot take, but ain’t really a hot take.Why is Mahomes looking average this year?
Mahomes isn’t that developed as a QB yet. I’m talking the full repertoire of what it takes of being an elite QB. He’s benefited from natural talent, all world talent at his skill positions, and playing for by far the best schemer and coordinator in the league with Andy Reid.
Mahomes plays a lot of backyard football and usually his receivers are wide open. He really doesn’t dissect defenses, go through progressions on a timing basis, or operate in a timing based system. It’s a one read system, and then he’s nifty enough to scramble around to buy time and launch one to an open receiver if he has to. If it’s not there, check down to an open Kelce or RB.
It’s almost like a foregone conclusion that’s he’s the best QB in the league. I’ve never been on that train. I’d take several QBs over him.
Why is Mahomes looking average this year?
they have a rookie RB who is 2nd in rushing yards while Pat has 1900 passing yds 16 tds and 1 int. They’re playing more conservative
I’m basically the chiefs mascot on this site and I understand you can only play like he was for so long lol but Andy doesn’t want to play shootout ball anymore. It doesn’t help our defense when we do that.
The chiefs have only allowed more than 20 pts 1 time this season ONCE and we’re 6-1

2nd year starting= 4,021 yds 26 tds 5 int
and before his injury was on pace to break his MVP year numbers smh what are you talking about it
he’s ranked 7th in passing yds above MVP candidates Rodgers and Russel
he’s ranked 4th in passing tds and has 1 pick while his running back is the 2nd leading rusher

with the injuries theres no way theyre touching the sb. i was trolling w/ the playoff comment but lets be realistic. Guwop is not carrying anyone to the bowl, and the defense is mediocre at best right now and their top guys arent coming back
