NEWSFLASH: The artists need the NFL more than the NFL needs the artists. This is one of the biggest single Events in the World, I'm sure they can still do Numbers if no-one performed.

the NFL makes BILLIONS off of superbowl ads n shyt. Companies spend the most during that period
But what if people didn't watch?
The halftime show is a big deal because of the performances, not because its a superbowl
A superbowl with no halftime show would be a much quicker game, less revenue to make during that break

Even artist I don't like usually have great halftime shows. When the shows started to slack off
Guess what happened? Other channels tried to attract that audience during the halftime
I think FOX back in the day had a MadTV or some shyt halftime show
Other channels did the same thing. It would be wise for them to continue to maintain a healthy relationship with the artist
Especially since they are not in any position to where they would NEED to charge. They should pay, they do pay, we the fans lose if they don't

While nothing is set in stone at this time, I will verify that we have reached out to the potential halftime performers about this. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the NFL trying to negotiate something new.

The Super Bowl is always the highest rated program of the year, so the potential new fans that could be gained from performing at this great spectacle is invaluable. These artists would lose a lot more revenue in the long run by passing on this opportunity than the small fee that we may require for the privilege of contributing to our halftime show.
