Marshal Faulk on Jamaal Charles: "I love everything Jamaal does, but he got to stay in the game and finish that drive. He had a long run, came out, and Davis get's the touchdown. You got to finish that off. You share your backfield you share your money :mjpls: "

Watching
It doesn't look like he hit him in the head, I still can't figure why he was flagged for that (yes it was PI). He'll likely get a fine too

Definitely wasn't a head hit.

RG3 won't be in the league in two years. I've said it elsewhere, all he can throw are flare routes. Rodney Harrison didn't have to put him on blast but it is true, he can't read defenses.

Its not that he CANT read defenses. Its that he's still learning to read defenses. This has been a problem for other spread QBs. Cam, Kaep, Bradford, Manziel etc.

They come from systems where a lot of throws are predetermined in college.

Reading defenses isnt the main problem for RG3.

Its the lack of pocket presence. He really has lost the trust to slide and move within the pocket to make throws. His footwork is sloppy and it looks like he still doesnt trust his knee/ankle.

I dont think he's terrible with his reads. He just doesnt move within the pocket to throw guys open.

Just how bad were the Eagles during their53-20 loss to the Packers on Sunday? Even the winless Raiders would have beaten them.

That's according to Philadelphia receiverJeremy Maclin, anyway.

"It's the National Football League, man. The way we played today, it wouldn't matter if we played Oakland, who hasn't won a game yet -- they would have beat the hell out of us, too," Maclin said, via CSN Philly. "We just didn't play well.

"No disrespect to Green Bay. Great football team. They played great today. But the way we played today, we wouldn't have beaten anybody."

And just how bad are the Raiders?

Well, they've lost 16 straight games, meaning they haven't won in a calendar year, and they've already been eliminated from the playoffs. Currently, Oakland has the fourth-worst losing streak in NFL history.

Lucky for Philadelphia, then, that it didn't actually have to play the Raiders. After all, nobody wants to be the team that ends another team's full year of futility.

The Yay
Didn't think so (tho they def said "blow to the head of a defenseless receiver" on the field....it'll be interesting to see if he's fined), and the only reason it's PI is cuz he didn't turn his head
the pi is very bang-bang too. look at the gif, his fingertips touch the ball and the hit is laid at pretty much the same time

like deion was saying, it would be a legal ass hit back in the day. thats a great play by a DB back in the day that would prolly get him a bonus :troll:

Ya the timing was perfect on that, imo....I only say it was PI cause he didn't turn his head to the ball. I'm not even sure that is actually a requirement, but in today's nfl they call it when the defender doesn't turn to look at the ball. :yeshrug:
